Seeing as all news and daily feedback is reported on our Facebook page, there is very little to add on this blog. I think I will use it as a temporary Newsletter until we have a mailing list to which we can send our Newsletter (by e-mail).

The idea is to report back each month on what has happened, what has been achieved, Who has died, who has arrived etc.

We have new committees which have not really had time to do much and a new manager starting at the beginning of June so I'll start this "Newsletter" at the end of May.

Hi everyone, this group was first started on Facebook on the 26th February 2015 and within a few days it had grown to over 200 members.

Although Facebook is an easy way to chat and to interact, we soon realised that we would also need a website. The website for the friends and for the home is obviously bigger and more powerful and can contain vital contact information, photo galleries etc.

The basic shell of this website was created on the 21st March 2015. We will continue to grow the history and backgrounds of the 2 homes and this will be available to anyone in the world.

There is a lot of work to be done, but first let us get through the first Special General Meeting. This is being held at 3pm on Wednesday 25th March in the Emma Barter lounge. The meeting is open to all interested parties, so please try to come along. It is at an awkward time for those in jobs, but this is the most convenient time for the home.
